They say you can sneeze and the weather in Mammoth will change. Clouds blow in and out and the weather can change from good to bad in an hour. While Mammoth has 300 days of sunshine, we also have a brutal winter with an average of 400 inches of snow. In 2010 Mammoth recieved 660 inches of snow with 200 inches of it fallin in the month of December. That being said... we also get to ski till July 4. Who ever heard of skiing and surfing on the same day...? Only in California.
Many of the weather services get their forecasts from the National Weather service, but they are not the only one predicting the ski and snow conditions. We think it is smart to check more than one and draw your own conclusion. Here are the favorite places to check out the Mammoth Mountain weather forecast.
